Mark E. Lynch and Kelly Lea Sattman Family Page - Mark E. Lynch was born in May 1965 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford Connecticut the son of Dr. Mark E. Lynch, MD and Dr. Catherine Peffer-Lynch, MD. Mark’s older sister, Susan Marie Lynch, was born the prior year, and both children were raised in the quiet town of Canton, CT. Dr. Mark Lynch owned his own medical practice in Avon, CT. known as Avon Medical Group and specialized in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Mark’s mother worked a flexible schedule as a physician at the Veteran’s Hospital in Newington, CT conducting physicals, evaluating claims, and working as an Emergency Room physician. Mark Lynch attended the Master’s School in Simsbury, CT from first thru eighth grades. The Master’s School is a private school that provided a full-range of higher level learning in a “small classroom setting”. Classes were typically under 12-15 students in size and the ratio of teachers to students was one of the best in the state. In addition, Mark Lynch was exposed to athletics and the outdoors at the Master’s School. Mark’s sister, Susan Marie, also attended the Master’s School as well as other private schools during the same general period. Susan was advanced several grades due to academic excellence, and upon completion of the 6th grade she entered the private school Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, CT as a freshman.
